Bulletin Boards

Under Construction!
Unsure of what to put up for Open House because you have NO student work?
Try this cute idea! Let the parent's know you are anxious to post their child's work
and their student masterpieces are coming soon.

Kindergarten is a HOOT!
This bulletin board is a great Fall or Halloween themed board. Each year, we do a study on
night life and nocturnal animals and my students make this owl to wrap up our theme. A paper
lunch sack, newspaper, and a few pieces of construction paper are all you need
to make a cute and easy owl!

Thanksgiving Turkeys!
We do a family project each month...and for November, students are given a turkey feather
and specific instructions to "get creative!" Students work with their family to create a feather to be
added to our class turkey. Students share their feather with the class and then it is added to
our turkey in the hall for all to admire. Gobble Gobble!

 New Year, New Goals...
This is a great January bulletin board.  We made portraits of ourselves
(using TLC Art techniques), with our party hats and horns.
Attached to our portraits, are our goals for the new year!

Past Greats, Future Greats...
This is a great February bulletin board.  We made silhouettes
of ourselves and tied it into shadows for Groundhog Day but also
carried it over for our president study in lieu of President's Day.
Students and parents, alike, enjoy this - - it makes a wonderful keepsake!

Fluttering into 1st Grade!
This bulletin board is a great way to end the year and send your students "fluttering"
into 1st grade! We typically study insects towards the end of the year, and the butterflies
were made during our insect unit. For a more close up view, check out the butterflies on
the art projects page!
